orfix NJB Tray Lidding Films for Fresh and Prepared Foods
orfix NJB tray lidding films lead with a recyclable mono-PET hero, available with anti-fog and laser-perforated grades and a PA/PE option for higher barrier. Every grade seals to PP, PE, APET and CPET trays.
Films are produced and converted in house at the orfix and NJB facility in Maynooth, Ireland, slit and finished in house and run through strict quality tests, so the reel that reaches your line matches the spec you signed off.
Mono-PET, the recyclable hero
High clarity and a natural oxygen barrier, the most recyclable structure in the range, with a mono-rPET grade in thicknesses agreed individually.
Anti-fog and laser-perforated
Anti-fog grades hold visibility on chilled trays; laser-perforated grades manage respiration for fresh produce.

Sustainability, straight
Mono PET and mono rPET are the most recyclable options in the range. Once the lid is peeled from the tray, both move through PET recycling streams where those streams exist.
Mono rPET is available in thicknesses agreed individually, depending on product and application. Recycled content and certified solutions are possible in principle, depending on product, material and requirements, and we review each case individually.
We are candid about the trade off: laminate structures such as PA/PE are stronger on barrier and seal chemistry but harder to recycle.
At company level, orfix is certified to ISO 14001 for environmental management and uses green electricity in production, and selected product ranges carry the Blue Angel ecolabel. Whether a specific product line qualifies under these programmes and for the orfix GREEN LABEL is reviewed individually.
