orfix NJB POF Shrink Films for Tight-Fit Packaging of Whole Products
orfix NJB cross-linked POF shrink film conforms tightly around whole products for a clear, second-skin pack. It runs on its own machine world: an L-sealer seals the film, then a hot-air tunnel draws it down to a close fit.
The cross-linked structure adds strength, the film offers excellent clarity for shelf appeal, and anti-fog and pre-perforated options are available where needed. Typical uses include whole chicken, cheese blocks, egg cartons, broccoli sleeves and retail multipacks. The films are produced and converted in house at the orfix and NJB facility in Maynooth, Ireland.

We are honest about where POF sits.
POF is a strong, clear shrink film, but its recycling path is challenging, and we will not present it as something it is not.
Where your application allows, we point you to a more recyclable route, for example anti-fog tray lidding in a recyclable mono-material structure. We also consider reduced-material structures where suitable for the application. Any compostable claim for POF would need datasheet confirmation.
